Our Leadership

Melody Vandivere
President & Founder
With over 17 years of experience as a medical equipment planner and project manager for capital healthcare projects, Melody has been involved in countless projects ranging in scope from outpatient clinics to full-service academic healthcare institutions. Melody draws on her background in engineering and business administration as well as her diverse project experience to add value through every phase of a project, from capital budgeting and design through construction, procurement, and installation. In her personal life, Melody is an avid gardener and adventurer. Professionally, her passion lies in finding talent and nurturing growth within her team.

Jimm Schroeder
Vice President
jimm@maiaplanning.comJimm has over two decades of information technology and project management experience in the healthcare space. While he considers himself more of a people person than a “techie”, his career began as a field service technician, system administrator, and project manager covering a variety of industries. Early on he found his calling in healthcare and decided to concentrate there permanently when he went to work as a sales engineer and program manager for a major medical device manufacturer. Since then, he has supported several large healthcare organizations, most recently at a top ranked U.S. News healthcare institution, as a hospital IS leader involved in capital planning, contract negotiations, operations support, and technology-facility program management. Jimm is enthusiastic about achieving a positive patient experience through a 360-degree collaboration with key stakeholders, and focuses on designing and developing functional, innovative and efficient facilities. When he is not building relationships and health centers, Jimm is devoted to family, cooking, home projects, and outdoor activities.

Adam Hurst
Principal
As a biomedical engineer, Adam provides insight as it relates to all phases of a healthcare construction project. His experience in previous project work has allowed Adam to become proficient in various equipment planning services from inventory/capital planning through procurement and implementation. Blessed with twins through IVF and surrogacy, Adam has a passion for Women’s Services and patient care. Coming from a healthcare-focused family representing nursing (ICU/Acute Care), Paramedics, Pharmacy, and Orthodontics/Dental, his viewpoint promotes technology with the patient in mind. Adam brings a unique skill set to a project team that promotes collaboration and open discussion.
